Tammy Vasilatos

Managing Member/CPA

With over 30 years’ experience in Taxation and Business Consulting, Tammy is an El Pasoan who is passionate about helping both clients and the El Paso Community. She received the first  Masters of Accountancy-Taxation degree from the University of Texas at El Paso which then led her to Houston to work for a national accounting firm. She currently serves on board of the El Paso Community Foundation & is a past president of the Junior League of El Paso. She enjoys American muscle cars & eating ethic food.



David Rogers

Founding Member

David has a retirement office inside the firm after having practiced public acccounting for fourty-four plus years. He serves as an advisor and brings a seasoned perspective to client matters. He is proud of the fact that he hired Tammy to work for him in 1985.



Donna Leffman

Tax Supervisor

A native of Illinois, Donna moved to El Paso in 1998 and continued her accounting studies at UTEP where she graduated December 2000 with a BBA. She starting working with Tammy in January 2001 and was a part of the transition to the current firm in 2006. Her area of practice is in Business, Trust and individual tax returns. She serves as Treasurer for the Temple Mt. Sinai Sisterhood, and is a regular volunteer for El Paso Aqua Posse and Franklin High School swim teams.




Debbie J Machristie

Office Manager

Debbie has worked in the field of tax and accounting for over 45 years, and has worked with Tammy for 35 years. She had experience with both International and local firms before she led the transition as Firm Administrator to the current organization in 2006.  In her down time she enjoys spending time with family, and is an avid reader.



Terri Rutter

Tax Supervisor/CPA

A native El Pasoan, Terri is a graduate of the Masters in Accountancy-Taxation program from the University of Texas at El Paso. She is the past president and currently a State Director for the Texas Society of CPA’s-El Paso Chapter, Treasurer of Southwest Quarter Horse Association and an Advisory Committee member for the Plaza Classic Film Festival and the Accounting and Information Systems Department at UTEP. She enjoys travel and planning equestrian trips to far off destinations.



Karen Cavin

Small Business Manager

Born in El Paso, Karen has been in the accounting field for 45 years and has worked with Tammy for 15 of those years. She specializes in bookkeeping for small and midsize business, and assisting clients with payroll and sales tax compliance. She has completed the Quickbooks ProAdvisors Certification program. In her spare time she enjoys riding her motorcycle, especially on long road trips.




Melissa Stuckwisch

Office Administrator

A native El Pasoan, Melissa has worked as Administrative Support for over 13 years, the last 5 with Tammy. She is the point of contact for clients, and keeps the office running smoothly while also handling select bookkeeping clients. When away from the office, she enjoys spending time with family and her beloved pets.



Sarah Schulz

Attestation Manager/CPA

An El Paso transplant, Sarah has lived and worked in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia for the past 14 years. After attending Texas Tech, she later transferred to UTEP where she earned her BBA in accounting. She has worked with Tammy for over 25 years. Her area of practice is primarily financial statement reviews and compilations, as well as business, trust and individual tax returns. She is currently serving as president of the Fort Defiance High School Sportsman Club, and financial secretary for her church. She is an avid sports fan and is kept busy watching her children play in a variety of competitions.



Alexis Trevino

Staff Accountant

A native El Pasoan, Alexis graduated with honors in May 2022 from UTEP with a BBA in Accounting. To get through school, she worked as a server and bartender for six years. She initially went to school for Computer Science and switched to Criminal Justice then ultimately found her calling in Accounting. She plans to further her education to become a CPA in the near future. In her spare time, Alexis enjoys learning new skills. A few of her favorite have been learning the ukulele and skating.
